Hailsham in Bloom is a community project organised by the Town Council's Hailsham In Bloom Sub-Committee. Working in partnership with residents, schools, businesses, voluntary groups and registered charities, we aim to provide long-term improvements to the environmental quality of Hailsham. We are fortunate enough to have support from many sections of the community, including the individuals who enter our local In Bloom competitions.
There are a number of reasons why residents of Hailsham should feel proud of the town they live in - one of them is the abundance of attractive floral displays throughout the town centre, including flower fountains, hanging baskets and various bedding displays.
Hailsham In Bloom has also developed initiatives to improve the local environmental quality in other parts of the town, including the enhancement of public open spaces, the planting of additional flora at the Hailsham Country Park, the installation of colourful murals at various recycling centres, and the planting of urban trees in residential areas.
